Card Armor

Enhance your personal safety with the touch of a button with the free Card Armor safety app. (Free to download in the App Store and Google Play.) This one-stop-shop allows you to instantly access important safety resources including:

• Request a Card Cruiser safety escort from dusk to dawn daily via the TripShot app feature. TripShot operates like the Uber/Lyft service. It allows you to be in control of your on-demand ride and see the Card Cruiser on a map, view your pick-up and destination times and receive push notifications when the Card Cruiser has arrived at your location. Go to your app store and download the TripShot app first. Sign-in using your UofL credentials one-time only.
• Anonymously report a crime to ULPD.
• Access campus maps, support resources, emergency plans and notify your personal emergency contacts that you are okay with one message.
• In cases of an emergency, you can report your location to police with a touch of the Mobile Blue Light feature.
• Allow your personally designated friend or family member to virtually follow you for safety reasons.
• Allow campus police to monitor your travels on campus for safety reasons.

Users of Card Armor have complete control as to whether or not anyone, including police, can track your location via GPS. Even if you do not grant this access, the Card Armor safety app is a valuable tool and should be downloaded by all campus members. When visiting your respective app store, be sure to search for the safety app by typing cardarmor (as one word).
